Description

The company is a global technology and professional services firm with about 26,000 staff in more than 50 countries, serving US government, defense and intelligence agencies in AI, cloud, cyber and software.

This full-time, on-site role supports USAREUR-AF G6 Joint Coalition Network Division (JCND) in secure, multi-directional information sharing across security boundaries using high-assurance Cross Domain Solutions.

You will deploy, configure, administer and maintain these systems, and the work directly affects the partner's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage or support the integration, administration and lifecycle of the 3 cross domain products across multi-level classified enclaves such as NIPRNet, SIPRNet and MPN.
  • Work with operators, government stakeholders, cybersecurity staff and technical staff to define cross-domain exchange needs, then build and test custom security rulesets.
  • Cut manual effort and keep transfer latency low through automation, policy tuning, data validation and ongoing process improvement.
  • Install, configure, integrate, patch and administer the 3 products across physical, virtualized and hybrid environments.
  • Use hardware enforcement such as data diodes and high assurance guards, work within hardened operating systems, and use SIEM logs for auditing.
  • Keep the systems compliant with NCDSMO standards so the Authority to Operate stays in place.

Requirements

  • Technical training, certification or degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, software development or engineering, cyber security, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of systems engineering or administration experience supporting DoD-approved Cross Domain Solutions.
  • Ability to administer and harden Red Hat Enterprise Linux and legacy Solaris, and to configure and troubleshoot SELinux policies, labeling and mandatory access controls.
  • Strong scripting in Bash, Python or Perl to automate file movements, validate structured formats and parse system audit logs.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles.
  • Deep knowledge of data serialization formats and protocols, including XML, JSON, CSV, PDF and tactical formats such as Link 16, USMTF, NITF, MPEG, TENA and DIS.
  • Proficiency with the vendor's central management console for configuration deployment, health and status monitoring.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, required. Highly preferred: CISSP, CASP+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required to start.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex security boundaries, rulesets and risk assessments to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Direct experience with the NCDSMO Raise the Bar (RTB) compliance guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253) to help draft and maintain SSPs, SCTMs and ConOps.
  • Experience preparing for and supporting independent Lab-Based Security Assessments (LBSA) and Site-Based Security Assessments (SBSA) to obtain an Authority to Operate.
  • TESA requirement: a bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience; or an associate's degree plus 7 years; or a major certification plus 7 years; or 11 years of recent specialized experience.
