You would join a multidisciplinary team of cloud experts, designers, business consultants, security specialists, engineers and developers, spread across more than 20 EMEA countries.

The company has more than 10,000 tech and business professionals working on cloud, data and cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable Java applications using object-oriented principles and current good practice.
• Write, test and debug Java code so it performs well and runs reliably.
• Work with colleagues to study requirements and turn them into technical specifications.
• Review peers' code and pass on what you know to the team.
• Build and maintain APIs and connect third-party services to existing applications.
• Tune application performance and fix problems in a methodical way.
• Write clear documentation for code and technical solutions.
• Help plan and estimate development tasks within sprints.
• Keep up with new technologies and practices in Java development.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Strong Java skills and a solid grasp of object-oriented design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Experience building enterprise applications and RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Ability to work well in a team and explain technical ideas clearly.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
