Description

The company is a digital services business wholly owned by an aircraft manufacturer. It offers one interoperable package covering planning and operations control, flight, technical and ground operations, combining manufacturer expertise with digital know-how to make airline operations more predictable, profitable and sustainable.

You will own the health and growth of the flight operations documentation management solutions in the flight deck portfolio. The role supports commercial teams on complex deals, shapes product vision and works with every business line.

Job family: Digital. Experience level: Professional.

Responsibilities

  • Set and update the offer policy and the technical statement of work appendices for the products you own, so commercial teams can market, sell and contract them within their standard offer.
  • On complex deals outside the standard offer, assess and reduce technical risk during contracting by running Business Process Reviews with customers, then take the risks through the deal assessment process.
  • Define the technical and functional scope of complex deals during bidding, make sure the value reaches the customer during implementation, and advise during support.
  • Help develop and rank new solutions by bringing market needs, and expected future needs, to the flight deck portfolio managers for inclusion in the portfolio roadmap.
  • Define and maintain the standard statement of work for non-complex deals, and the criteria for classifying a deal as complex.
  • Give the portfolio and software factory teams a view of current and upcoming airline requirements and help prioritise them for the roadmap.
  • On complex deals, set requirements on both the customer and company side to maximise customer value while limiting customisation through Business Process Review (BPR). Assess technical, functional and cultural implementation risk and set the risk level. Define the technical part of the statement of work. Keep value delivered and risk mitigated during implementation. Support delivery teams in all regions on selected projects and priority customers, such as cutover for a Tier 1 airline.
  • Raise the brand's profile by presenting at industry events and writing white papers in your area of expertise.
  • Support the level 3 support team in prioritising advanced items and customer escalations.

Requirements

  • A Master of Science in airline management or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with a strong background in aviation training, in operations documentation management at an airline or other service provider, or in flight operations documentation at an aircraft manufacturer.
  • Working knowledge of how an air operator runs, including flight operations.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at every level, inside and outside the organisation.
  • Good organisational and analytical skills.
  • A can-do attitude for getting past blockers.
  • Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.

Conditions

Permanent contract, French classification G14.

Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the Blagnac office.
