Description

The company is the company, a large global semiconductor business that is growing its AI-focused power delivery line quickly. Its products include digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages, Vertical Power Stages with integrated capacitors and multiple silicon die, Power Towers that combine several SPS-equivalents with capacitors and inductors, and power MOSFETs.

This role owns long-range capacity gap work: spotting shortfalls, proposing fixes and driving them to completion. The aim is predictable capacity at scale, fewer late capacity escalations, and no surprise bottlenecks at ramp. The work links capacity investment and qualification plans to business needs.

The ideal candidate brings strong quantitative modeling, semiconductor supply chain knowledge, constraint engineering discipline and program management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain component-level demand and capacity models across product lines, technology nodes, manufacturing flows and planning horizons.
  • Create base, upside, downside and surge demand scenarios that support executive capacity decisions.
  • Set planning assumptions, model governance and a refresh cadence that keep forecasts consistent and decisions sound.
  • Create and keep current capacity profiles for internal and external sites, covering front-end, back-end, test and critical suppliers.
  • Find structural capacity constraints early and define mitigation paths before NPI start or production ramp commitments.
  • Support surge planning by modeling realistic upside capacity, recovery timing, qualification dependencies and risk buffers.
  • Turn long-range signals into capacity readiness plans that cut late escalations.
  • Find hidden systemic bottlenecks across design, manufacturing, test, supplier capability, yield, cost and capacity interfaces before they hit ramp.
  • Lead root cause analysis using operational, engineering, supplier, yield and cycle-time data to isolate constraint drivers and measure business impact.
  • Program manage constraint resolution from detection through mitigation, closure and recurrence prevention across cross-functional teams.
  • Feed structural fixes into DFM, capacity, cost reduction, qualification and supplier readiness roadmaps.
  • Turn recurring bottlenecks into durable process, design, sourcing or capacity solutions.
  • Run cross-functional capacity reviews that align demand signals, site readiness, supplier capability and qualification plans.
  • Run sensitivity analysis on demand volatility, supplier constraints, site readiness, surge scenarios and systemic scaling risks.
  • Improve modeling methods, data quality and planning tools to make capacity more predictable at scale.
  • Speed up recovery from issues that occur by setting decision paths, mitigation playbooks and feedback loops into capacity and DFM planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain planning or operations strategy.
  • Solid grasp of semiconductor fabrication and supply chains, with program management leadership experience.
  • Track record of finding systemic bottlenecks, running data-driven root cause analysis and driving fixes across engineering, manufacturing, supplier and planning teams.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling skills in tools such as Excel, VCO, AI optimization, SQL, Python or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferred: MBA or Master's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Preferred: Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration and partnership skills across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and OSAT partners.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of industry cycles and long-lead semiconductor equipment planning.
  • Key strengths: strategic thinking with strong data analytics, data-driven decisions, scenario modeling and financial analysis, cross-functional leadership, risk assessment and mitigation, and constraint engineering with systemic bottleneck resolution.

Conditions

Equal opportunity employer; the company does not discriminate on any basis protected by law.

The company deals with dual-use technology under U.S. export controls, so a U.S. government export license may be needed before technology is released to certain persons, and the company alone decides whether to apply.

Benefits

  • A competitive benefits package alongside salary; details are shared during the hiring process.
