Description

The Service product line covers post-order experience for customers, riders and vendors worldwide, through support tools, agent CRM software and chatbots.

You will sit in the Product Analytics team, embedded in the product organisation, which works in a data-first way to change how products get built.

The role is for a Staff or Senior Product Analyst who will set the data strategy for the Logistics Service line.

Your work will move past reporting: you will shape the product using hypothesis tests and turn large datasets into strategic stories.

You will work on automating customer support across billions of orders, depending on your focus: cheaper chatbots, agent productivity, automated problem resolution, or models that predict vouchers and compensation, balancing customer satisfaction against cost.

The Logistics team works on last-mile delivery that is efficient, affordable and sustainable, for customers, riders and merchants in many countries, supporting expansion into grocery and retail.

Responsibilities

  • Define and refine product metrics and leading indicators that show product health, customer satisfaction and business viability.
  • Use quantitative analysis to inform what Product Managers and Engineers build and why, and help Performance teams localise solutions efficiently.
  • Plan, run and analyse A/B tests, and advise product and operations teams on design, interpretation and decisions so only impactful features ship.
  • Drive the build-out of scalable analytics infrastructure and self-service tools, and keep data quality and access strong across the organisation.
  • Apply GenAI to analytics, and adapt the data stack and working methods to suit.
  • Mentor other analysts, lead peer review and act as a quality gate, promoting a data-driven mindset across Product and Tech.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years as a Product Analyst, Data Scientist or similar, ideally in fast-moving tech or marketplace businesses.
  • Ability to turn broad business goals into concrete analytics plans, with a clear grasp of how the product makes money.
  • Expert SQL and solid Python for complex analysis and visualisation, with hands-on work on large platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
  • Proven record designing, building and tuning data pipelines, owning data curation so decisions rest on reliable data.
  • Solid grasp of A/B test design, edge cases and common pitfalls, and the ability to help stakeholders frame tests and read results.
  • Proven record of building actionable dashboards and data stories in tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • Solid experience using GenAI to partly automate your own work, ideally with team-wide automations that have proven their value beyond prototypes.
  • Demonstrated mentoring and autonomous leadership of high-impact projects, with influence over stakeholders who do not report to you.
  • Knowledge of causal inference and statistical analysis.
  • Staff only, not required for Senior: operate across the whole product line and set the analytics direction for the department, plus excellence in one of three areas (not all three): analytics engineering with pipeline quality standards enforced across 10+ teams; GenAI, with automations that reach sustained high adoption and drive the team's GenAI transformation; or strategic thinking and execution, working directly with senior leadership on top priorities and proposing high-impact initiatives.
