Description

The company runs an AI-powered product network that helps governments and businesses make the global economy more resilient and secure while trade keeps moving.

This role is a senior staff Implementation Delivery Manager on the Global Public Sector team, responsible for technical delivery to one major public sector account or organization.

You report to a GPS Implementation sub-vertical lead for Trade, Resilience, or Policy, and are assigned to a named strategic account. For example, a manager on U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reports to the Trade lead.

You work with the Technical Account Managers and Program Managers who run the account, using delivery credibility to support growth without owning the sales number.

The team works with Python, SQL, TypeScript/JavaScript, AWS, Azure, Claude, Databricks, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, Spark/PySpark, Swagger/OpenAPI, Delta/Unity Catalog, OpenSearch, Postgres, Redshift, and S3.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery for a named strategic account or group of accounts, from contract award through ongoing sustainment. Meet contractual dates and keep technical quality high.
  • Design the account's architecture across SaaS and regulated PaaS environments, turning mission goals into a clear enterprise or solution design. Make the deployment, integration, and data modeling choices that let the account grow through upgrades and change.
  • Architect and deploy the solution yourself. Where the product lacks a needed capability, build first-draft features and integrations, then hand working prototypes to Product and Engineering to harden and scale.
  • Lead the implementation pod, including Implementation Delivery Specialists, integration engineers, and platform or cloud staff matrixed to the account. Set priorities, assign owners, clear blockers, and coach the team.
  • Build lasting technical relationships with the customer's architects, engineering leaders, and senior decision-makers. Reduce delivery risk and earn a voice in what comes next.
  • With TAMs and Program Managers, turn delivery trust and new use cases into a qualified pipeline of upsells and expansions. Point out where the platform can add mission value. Commercial owns the number and the close.
  • Support pre-sales, capture, and scoping with technical scoping, level of effort, and solution design, so only deliverable work is sold and delivery starts with the context it needs.
  • Own system performance, incident response, and customer support obligations across the full lifecycle.
  • Ensure deployments meet security, risk, and compliance requirements in regulated settings such as FedRAMP, DoD IL5, and mission-specific enclaves, balancing compliance with scale and go-to-market needs.
  • Pass field learnings to product. Frame product requests clearly and by priority, pointing to existing features where possible so builds are shorter and refinement comes sooner.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technical experience across enterprise or solution architecture, hands-on deployment, and product design and development in a data-intensive or software field.
  • A track record of leading complex, customer-facing software deployments end to end, ideally on-premise or in secured or regulated environments, and owning delivery against firm commitments.
  • Deep architecture experience across cloud (AWS or Azure; GovCloud and other regulated environments a plus), data engineering (Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks), complex integrations (REST APIs, SSO/SAML), and containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Confident acting as the technical lead with senior customer stakeholders, and able to translate between mission owners, engineers, and commercial teams.
  • Good at spotting and shaping expansion opportunities, working with commercial peers to grow an account through delivered value.
  • Experience handling sensitive data and working in highly regulated technology organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to meet Public Trust eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Able to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the TS/SCI level.
  • Exposure to trade compliance, supply chain management, shipping and logistics, or a closely related international commerce field.
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, DoD IL5, or other government-managed or accredited environments.
  • People management experience leading small technical delivery teams.
  • Experience building and maintaining APIs and ML toolsets such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, and Dedupe.

Conditions

Available to work on-site in the DC, Virginia, or Maryland area for U.S. Federal accounts such as CBP.
