Senior Specialist, Platform Architect (CIAM)

Description

This senior architecture role is based in Hyderabad, with a healthcare biopharma company that has a 130-year history.

The company works with digital technology and data-driven methods across prescription medicines, vaccines and animal health products.

The role sits in a Technology Centre, one of the globally distributed IT locations that support the company's digital transformation and business outcomes.

You will shape the architecture, design, governance and ongoing evolution of the customer identity and access management (CIAM) platform, with PingOne as the main focus.

You will provide technical leadership for customer identity services used by customer-facing applications, digital channels, eCommerce platforms and business initiatives across Animal Health.

The platform underpins hundreds of customer-facing assets and rollouts in several global markets.

The company is headquartered in Rahway, New Jersey, USA, and develops medicines and vaccines for serious human and animal diseases.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain CIAM architecture standards, patterns and reference designs.
• Lead the design and build of PingOne-based identity solutions.
• Design authentication, single sign-on (SSO), federation, multi-factor authentication (MFA), authorization and consent management.
• Work with solution architects, product teams, security and enterprise identity teams to deliver scalable, secure identity solutions.
• Support onboarding of applications and their integration with the CIAM platform.
• Lead platform modernization, technical governance and continuous improvement.
• Mentor CIAM engineers and give them technical direction.
• Make sure the platform meets enterprise security, privacy and architecture standards.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
• 7+ years in solution architecture, identity and access management, or software engineering.
• Deep expertise in PingOne, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, federation and API security.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale CIAM solutions.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, APIs and modern application integration patterns.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Skills in PingOne Advanced Services, PingOne, SSO, MFA and PingID, directory services, Authorize, DaVinci, and other authentication and authorization solutions.
• Ability to produce solution designs and enterprise architecture review board (ARB)-ready artifacts.
• Hands-on development and engineering in the CIAM space.
• Good to have: PingOne certifications.
• Good to have: experience with CIAM platforms supporting customer-facing digital ecosystems.
• Good to have: experience with Salesforce, eCommerce, CRM and digital engagement platforms.
• Good to have: knowledge of GDPR, consent management and identity governance.
