ServiceNow Developer

Description

The company is working on its platform and is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join the central DevOps team.

The work covers everyday functional support, core platform development, new feature builds and fast incident resolution.

The role suits someone who knows the ServiceNow backend, understands Agile and Scrum, and codes in JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Write test guides and user guides for new ServiceNow features.
• Analyse business requirements and process flows, then build ServiceNow forms, tables, modules and scripts.
• Connect ServiceNow to other systems via REST, SOAP or the company's own connector, including web services.
• Write and debug JavaScript code.
• Design services and reporting dashboards.
• Build clear, user-friendly catalog items and handle ad hoc requests.
• Support the company's mission and values and the wider ServiceNow community.

Requirements

• Strong ServiceNow scripting and JavaScript experience is required.
• Experience maintaining the ServiceNow platform, including patches and upgrades, is a must.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM), covering Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management, is highly desirable.
• Experience with UX design is expected.
• Experience in large enterprise environments and a customer support mindset are expected.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are expected.
• A university degree or equivalent relevant work experience is expected.
• You need English proficiency for daily meetings.
• Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro) is required.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications are required.
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification is expected.

Conditions

The role is mostly remote, with the team aiming to meet in person at least once a week when possible.
