Senior Solutions Architect, Inference Networking ISV Enablement

The company is hiring a senior solution architect to help enable network industry software vendors (ISVs) that are building a network stack for distributed inference. That stack orchestrates wide area and cloud networks and makes them workload-aware for routing, security and inference load balancing.

You will join the Telco Solution Architecture team. The work is about applying AI inference-aware technology to existing networks.

Responsibilities

• Use the company's and open-source tools to define, build and orchestrate inference solutions.
• Help strategic telecom ISVs deploy and support those designs.
• Work with developers, bring them onto the company's platforms and SDKs, and guide them in depth on the technical details.
• Anticipate the needs of telecom ISV partners and customers and find chances to grow use of the company's networking tools and platforms.
• Build reference architectures that can be repeated, document standard processes, explain solution trade-offs, and pass findings back to improve products and services.
• Help customers design high-performance, secure, workload-aware networks.
• Advise customers on efficient, scalable workflows built with the company's libraries and SDKs.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience developing and deploying networks at scale as a software engineer or network architect.
• A record of building cloud-grade networks with open-source tools and orchestration frameworks, with a solid grounding in network topology and observability.
• Working knowledge of telecom networks, including network telemetry, logs, SNMP and NetFlow/IPFIX.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for working with both internal and external customers.
• Ways to stand out from the crowd:
• Hands-on experience with inference workloads, networks and tools.
• Understanding of telecom network infrastructure, including SDN/NFV, security and cloud-native networking.
• Knowledge of networking stacks and architecture in cloud environments.

Conditions

Base salary depends on location, experience and other objective job-related factors. The expected base salary is 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD for Level 4 and 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD for Level 5.
