Senior Sofware Development Engineer (.NET)

Description

The company makes software for electronics design and is building a cloud platform that helps design engineers communicate, collaborate and move their products to market faster.

The company is a global software business headquartered in San Diego, California, and is part of a larger group. Its platform connects every stakeholder and stage of electronics development, from PCB designers to supply chain and manufacturing teams.

You will work on the R&D software engineering team, where you can shape new product features for electronics engineers and contribute your own ideas.

Responsibilities

• Build complex cloud applications as part of product development.
• Create new cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructure.
• Use AI and ML to improve search.
• Handle large-scale data processing, data modeling and intent-based API design.
• Work with stateful and stateless servers, relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Conceive and build new product features.
• Solve engineering problems that combine complex engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services.
• Share knowledge with colleagues to grow the team's expertise.

Requirements

• Required: experience with.NET Core and.NET Framework.
• Required: experience with microservices.
• Required: experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Required: experience with MySQL. FireBird and Oracle experience is a plus.
• A plus: experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, etc.) or Azure/GCP.
• A plus: experience with multi-tenant architecture.
• A plus: experience with Sentry and New Relic for alerts and monitoring.
