  • Handle security incidents in deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, including root cause analysis and fixes.
  • Build and maintain monitoring and logging that catches security events and operational problems.
  • Write up DevSecOps processes, procedures and best practices so the team can improve and share knowledge.
  • Track new security and DevOps trends, threats and tools.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance after starting, which requires US citizenship.
  • 5+ years of cloud DevSecOps experience.
  • 5+ years working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years integrating security tools such as SAST, DAST and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: a P4 qualification, meaning a Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or computer science plus 9+ years of related work experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 13+ years of directly related work experience, or 17+ years of related, relevant experience.
  • Preferred: an active Secret clearance or higher.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or similar.
  • Preferred: 10+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering.
  • Preferred: scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar.
  • Preferred: problem-solving skill and the ability to collaborate well in a busy environment.
  • Preferred: relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist or CISSP.
