Description

The company is an incubation firm that builds and invests in fast-growing technology businesses across healthcare, cyber, and national security.

Its Human-AI security operations center product keeps people in control: SOC teams can create their own agents, supervise AI-driven automation, and automate triage, enrichment, and investigations while they validate evidence and make the decisions they answer for. The product holds FedRAMP Certified Class D (High) and SOC 2 Type II, and aims to shrink attack surfaces, remove blind spots, and move security teams from reactive to proactive work.

Company leadership spent decades defending the country's most sensitive networks, and the product reflects that mission.

The team is building a new product for national security operators and extending the existing platform that other products share.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship resilient, fast web applications and secure APIs that process, display, and combine intelligence from social media feeds, audio streams, and geolocation data for operators running critical missions.
  • Work directly with customers to turn their needs into a new product, then improve the shared platform so several products benefit.
  • Work with Product, Design, domain experts, and other engineering teams to turn complicated technical requirements into simple, usable experiences for analysts.
  • Spend time in live national security operations alongside tactical operators, building, testing, and refining custom tools in real conditions.
  • Strengthen the core platform with reliable data integration, low latency, and infrastructure that scales across product lines.

Requirements

  • You hold an active TS security clearance.
  • At least 5 years of full stack engineering experience.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience building responsive, scalable frontends and APIs, with a solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Working proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with AI coding tools and building their supporting harnesses.
  • Clear, effective written and spoken communication.
  • You care about building products that customers enjoy, including ones powered by next-generation AI.
  • Even better if you have: 2+ years at an early stage (Seed or Series A) startup.
  • Even better if you have: experience building AI products using natural language processing, computer vision, or other machine learning methods.

Conditions

Base salary is $180,000, $240,000, with final pay based on experience, skills, and location.

The role is eligible for the bonus program and equity.
