Description

Complex integrated systems support national security by giving insight into the global picture, shaping strategy, and guiding tactical action. Their dependability, reach, and sophistication can decide how a conflict turns out before fighting starts.

The Systems Development Division builds advanced technology that gives an asymmetric edge in the information domain. It carries each solution through every stage, from concept and architecture to rollout, using new technologies to produce first-of-its-kind systems. Current work includes airborne and space RF sensors and multi-function, multi-modal operations.

The company is a growing technology firm that does advanced R&D for defense, intelligence, and national security, covering cyber, next-generation sensors, radar, sonar, communications, electronic warfare, and AI analytics.

You will build C++ software for complex embedded radar systems, mainly for Air-to-Air applications.

  • Use DevSecOps practices and keep refining them over time.
  • Review requirements, architecture, code, and test plans with peers.
  • Write documentation for software designs and interfaces.
  • Create analysis tools.
  • Find the root cause of software defects and fix them.

Requirements

  • You must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship as the U.S. Government demands.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong command of C++14 and of engineering methods for multi-threading, memory management, and performance tuning.
  • Experience connecting with larger software systems, including unit and system-level testing.
  • Working knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD tools, automated test frameworks, and code quality tools.
  • Willingness to pick up new programming languages, third-party frameworks, and new technologies.
  • Even Better: active security clearance.
  • Even Better: familiarity with signal processing or mathematical modeling.
  • Even Better: GPU software development experience.
  • Even Better: RDMA experience.
  • Even Better: C++17 experience or newer.
  • Even Better: familiarity with radar concepts.

  • Even Better: experience developing, optimizing, and converting MATLAB algorithms into efficient C++.
  • Even Better: an advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Even Better: knowledge of automation frameworks and tools for routine tasks and complex workflows.
  • Even Better: domain expertise in electronic warfare, antenna apertures, sensor resource management, large-scale platform test systems, cyber physical systems, or open system architectures.
