The company makes story-driven RPGs. This senior role sits in the Shared Tech QA group, which checks studio-wide technology such as engine systems, tools, pipelines and features that span several projects.
Shared solutions have to stay stable, scalable and maintainable on every platform and across long roadmaps, so the work affects many teams at once.
Responsibilities
Test shared engine systems, tools, pipelines and cross-project features for performance, stability, integration and behaviour across platforms, working with several teams at once.
Build reusable manual and automated test cases, suites and plans that stay easy to maintain and consistent across projects, and keep improving them.
Work with shared technology developers, tools programmers, technical artists and downstream project teams to find, log and fix problems so shared tools work reliably across the studio.
Review test results to find underlying systemic causes, then recommend changes that make shared technology more robust, faster and easier for teams to adopt.
Take part in risk assessments, quality strategy and process changes as priorities and platform plans shift.
Produce quality reports and dashboards with data and analytics tools that show cross-project trends and support decisions.
Keep technical documentation current for shared technologies, covering test coverage, known limitations and QA practice for wide use.

Have hands-on experience with at least one shipped AA or AAA title and understand production realities and dependencies between teams.
Understand testing methods for complex systems, including integration, regression, performance, stress and long-term stability testing.
Have strong experience validating technology built on or integrated with game engines such as Unreal, Unity, Godot or REDengine/REDkit, and know engine constraints and workflows.
Know CI/CD pipelines, build system workflows, RoboMerge and Perforce.
Know content and asset creation pipelines well enough to spot systemic pipeline risks.
Have tested across multiple platforms, including PC and major consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), and understand platform constraints.
Can design, own and evolve test strategies for technology used by several products and teams.
Have used QA tools, automation frameworks and diagnostic solutions to improve coverage, efficiency and signal quality at scale.
Think analytically and in systems, spotting cross-team risks and long-term improvement opportunities.
Have a track record of creating and maintaining technical documentation, test plans, quality guidelines and test reports for broad internal use.
Can mentor and support other QA team members through knowledge sharing and best practices, without formal people management.
Speak and write English fluently.
