Senior Security Client Solution Architect - California (Remote)

Description

The role centres on shaping and delivering security strategies that span several domains for complex client environments.

You will shape more than the technical design. The work also informs deal strategy, security spending decisions, and whether solutions fit regulatory obligations, risk appetite and long-term business goals.

You will work independently, partner with sales and technical teams, and help raise consultative security practice across the company.

This suits someone who likes owning strategy, leading conversations that cross security domains, and helping clients and colleagues reach a higher level of security maturity.

Responsibilities

• Run executive-level security discovery that focuses on reducing risk, meeting compliance requirements and improving operational maturity.
• Build security solution strategies that draw on the full security stack.
• Spot chances to extend a client's coverage into other domains, such as identity, perimeter, endpoint, data, application, email, cloud, AI security, Zero Trust and observability.
• Design integrated architectures that cover endpoint, network, cloud and identity.
• Work with Account Executives to build opportunity strategies, qualify deals and sharpen positioning.
• Review and validate designs, bills of materials (BOMs) and statements of work (SOWs) with practice leaders.
• Act as the escalation point for intricate or high-risk security designs.
• Coach CSAs and engineers on consultative approaches to discovery and architecture.
• Help develop reference architectures, playbooks and go-to-market security offerings.
• Complete ongoing security awareness training and follow company policies.
• Raise security risks with the right Executive Leadership Team member and help fix them.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in security architecture or consulting.
• A proven record of selling and delivering solutions across multiple security domains.
• A thorough grasp of Zero Trust principles and NIST security frameworks.
• Ability to lead complex client discussions and steer strategic decisions.
• Deep technical expertise in at least three security domains.
• Strong executive-level communication skills.

Conditions

Remote role. You must live in California and be based in the United States.

Travel of up to 40% may be required.

Base salary range for the New York City version of this role is $250,000-$275,000 OTE, which is base salary plus bonus and/or commission. Pay elsewhere may differ.
