Senior Salesforce Developer

The company is still early in its growth and is building its Salesforce ecosystem as it scales.

This is a senior, hands-on developer role for someone who builds and ships Salesforce solutions across Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, integrations, automation, data, security, Slack and AI, rather than an administration or configuration position.

You will turn complex business requirements into scalable technical designs, write production-quality code, debug hard problems and take solutions from architecture through deployment and production support.

A key priority is expanding the company's use of AI and agentic technology, including Salesforce Agentforce, Salesforce AI features, generative AI, Slack-based experiences and AI-driven workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL and SOSL, Platform Events and related tools.
• Create AI-enabled solutions with Agentforce, generative AI, LLM APIs, RAG, Prompt Builder and intelligent automation.
• Build Salesforce and Slack integrations, apps, bots, workflows and AI-powered employee experiences.
• Design secure, reliable links between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth, webhooks, middleware and event-driven patterns.
• Work with the GTM Architecture, Security, Data, Infrastructure and other teams so solutions fit business processes and enterprise standards.
• Use modern engineering practices, including Git, Salesforce DX and CLI, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, monitoring and documentation.
• Investigate and fix complex production issues, and improve performance, security, scalability and maintainability over time.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience, with substantial hands-on development work.
• Advanced skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce data modeling, Flow and automation.
• Strong experience designing REST APIs, enterprise integrations and secure Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD, automated testing, debugging and production support.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications with tools such as Agentforce, generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents or semantic search.
• Ability to turn complex technical and business requirements into secure, scalable production solutions.
• Strong technical documentation, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Preferred: Slack development and integration, including APIs, apps, bots, workflows, OAuth, the Events API and webhooks.
• Preferred: experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce.
• Preferred: MuleSoft or a comparable integration platform.
• Preferred: AWS, Azure or a comparable cloud platform.
• Preferred: enterprise API architecture, identity and access management, and modern data platforms.
• Preferred: experience in a SaaS, cybersecurity or fast-growing global technology organization.
• Preferred: relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I or II, or architecture-focused credentials.
