Description

The company builds Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure that is scalable, secure and sovereign.

Its Container and OpenStack platforms are already used by heavily regulated enterprises, and those customers now face rapidly growing agentic AI and inference workloads. The team is building its Enterprise AI infrastructure offering to meet that need.

This is a pre-sales architecture role for French-speaking Europe, working with customers in banking, insurance, telecom, government and pharma. Their platform and security teams will be in every key conversation, so your technical credibility decides whether they trust the proposal.

You will work with European enterprise customers, platform engineering teams and AI practitioners on Kubernetes-based systems, developer platforms and scalable AI workloads across hybrid and multi-cloud setups.

This is not a support role. You own the architecture discussion, the proof of concept and the customer relationship, and account teams work alongside you.

Responsibilities

  • Be the technical adviser that CTOs and platform leaders rely on for direct answers, not only for demos.
  • Turn a customer's regulatory, operational and organizational constraints into an architecture that can be deployed on the Container, OpenStack and Enterprise AI offerings.
  • Run proofs of concept under real conditions: deploy the platform, prototype AI workloads, fix issues live and show how it runs day to day.
  • Explain infrastructure in terms that a CIO and a platform engineer can each act on, whether in a boardroom, a workshop or at a whiteboard.
  • Keep technical continuity from discovery through proof of concept to expansion, especially in regulated accounts where trust is slow to earn and quick to lose.
  • Bring the same credibility to new opportunities in regulated sectors where the AI infrastructure conversation is only starting.
  • Send field insight back to product and go-to-market teams as the Enterprise AI offering develops, with your input given real weight.

Requirements

  • Experience as a platform engineer, DevOps engineer or cloud architect, having built and run Kubernetes, containers, OpenStack and platform engineering systems before moving customer-facing.
  • Interest in AI infrastructure such as GPU orchestration, inference and model serving, which you already pursue on your own initiative.
  • Ability to treat compute, networking, storage, inference and governance as one architecture rather than a list of tools.
  • Able to stand up clusters, run live demos, build proofs of concept and debug them yourself in front of a customer.
  • Experience managing accounts in high-scrutiny environments, understanding that technical trust drives the sales cycle.
  • Active in the technical community through conference talks, open-source work, technical writing or demo building.
  • Most important: a proven record of running technical evaluations that become signed deals, and being able to explain how you achieved it.
  • Equally important: proven technical authority in regulated enterprises, where the sales cycle runs through platform and security review as well as procurement, and where relationship building and technical account management matter as much as architecture.
  • 12 years combined experience in infrastructure engineering and solutions architecture or sales engineering.
  • 5+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture or technical consulting in France or another French-speaking European country.
  • Hands-on experience designing or running Kubernetes and/or OpenStack systems in production.
  • Track record supporting enterprise sales cycles for infrastructure or cloud platforms.
  • Experience managing accounts in regulated sectors (banking and financial services, telecom, government, pharma or manufacturing) strongly preferred.

Conditions

Remote, based in Europe.

Salary is not fixed. It depends on skills, prior experience, education, the base salaries of internal peers, demonstrated performance and geographic location.

The company may use automated decision-making for certain employment decisions; you may ask to opt out for evaluation decisions and appeal any such decision.

Benefits

  • An early seat in the Enterprise AI infrastructure business, which has an installed base of 1,500 enterprise customers.
  • Ownership of the technical work: you design the architecture, build the proof of concept and hold the customer's trust.
  • Work with an established Silicon Valley leader in cloud infrastructure.
  • Work alongside colleagues who help Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies adopt next-generation cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to open-source innovation.
  • Join a young, fast-moving company that values openness, collaboration, calculated risk-taking and continuous growth.
  • Professional development and training, plus conferences and working groups.
  • Company outings, happy hours, hackathons and tech talks.
  • Competitive compensation and a strong benefits plan.
