Senior Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

Description

The company runs several projects at once across departments and needs a senior project manager to lead them.

The role covers the full life of each project, from planning and solution design to budgeting, staffing and risk.

Much of the work is looking at how workflows and business processes operate, finding where they waste effort, and turning those findings into clear requirements.

The team coordinates across functions to bring systems, processes and technology solutions together.

Responsibilities

• Lead several projects at the same time across departments, keeping each on schedule, within scope and within budget.
• Take ownership of each project from start to finish, covering planning, solution design, budget, resource allocation and risk.
• Examine workflows and business processes, spot inefficiencies, and convert them into requirements that can be acted on.
• Improve processes using process modeling, data analysis and gap analysis.
• Guide change management so transitions go smoothly and stakeholders support the changes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams working on integrating systems, processes and technology.
• Keep stakeholders informed and aligned through requirements gathering, progress updates and managing expectations.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of project management experience.
• A background in business analysis or product management.
• A proven record of improving business processes and putting changes into products or operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams that include both business and technical stakeholders.
• English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Nice to have: hands-on experience applying AI to products or processes with measurable results.
• Nice to have: proficiency with no-code or low-code tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Bubble or Bolt.

Conditions

The role is remote and on a contract basis.
