Description

The company is growing quickly and hiring senior project managers who pair leadership skills with technical knowledge to run complex telecom infrastructure projects.

The work covers major efforts such as fiber optic rollouts, wireless infrastructure builds and large network upgrades.

In this senior role you will set direction, lead cross-functional teams, improve operating performance, and help build a team that values ownership, collaboration and ongoing improvement.

The company designs, builds and maintains wireline and wireless networks across North America and beyond, covering construction, upkeep, and service installation and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Put safety first on every telecom construction site and meet or beat all safety and environmental standards.
  • Plan and run large telecom projects, such as fiber deployments, small cell installs and wireless tower builds.
  • Handle risk, permitting and client communication across the full project lifecycle.
  • Find and pursue new telecom project opportunities.
  • Manage schedules, budgets and resource allocation using standard industry tools and methods.
  • Put the Project Quality Plan (PQP) into practice and make sure telecom construction standards and specifications are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams so materials and services arrive on time.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage change orders.
  • Set up and maintain project systems for cost tracking, reporting and documentation.

Requirements

  • Have 8+ years managing telecom or utility construction projects, including leading large, complex infrastructure builds.
  • Hold a degree or diploma in construction management, telecommunications, engineering or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and diplomas or technical training are accepted.
  • Understand telecom construction methods, permitting processes and industry standards such as NESC and NEC, plus local codes.
  • Have led teams, managed subcontractors and communicated clearly with clients and stakeholders.
  • A plus: experience with contract negotiation, cost control, and scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera or similar.

Conditions

The role is mainly hybrid. Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates based on experience, location and business needs.

Base pay range: $100,000.00 - $137,500.00.

This is the expected base pay range for the role. Actual pay depends on experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.

You must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualified people of any background are encouraged to apply, regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status or any other identifying characteristic.

Benefits

  • A competitive total rewards package that supports your physical, mental and financial well-being.
  • Challenging work with chances to grow your skills and knowledge.
