Responsibilities

• Lead and manage allocated bids and projects in the Land and Protected Vehicles portfolio.
• Lead and manage assembled bid and project teams to meet business objectives.
• Make sure project cost, schedule, safety and quality objectives are exceeded.
• Lead the strategic development of high-quality, competitive bid offers.
• Follow and help improve the Bids and Project Management Governance framework.
• Support commercial and contract management across a portfolio of complex programs by managing complex subcontracts with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Hold a degree in business, engineering, project management or another suitable discipline.
• Have proven senior-level bid and project management experience with multiple partners or major co-contractors.
• Have experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Be able to lead in international, multicultural and unstable settings involving one or several stakeholders.
• Show proven, effective leadership, strong interpersonal and verbal communication, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Desired: experience leading complex bids and projects across geographies and time zones.
• Desired: experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Desired: experience with Defence ASDEFCON procurement.

Conditions

Based at the Eagle Farm office in Brisbane, working onsite.

A Defence security clearance is required, so applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
