Description

The team works on monitoring for high-voltage switchgear, including circuit breakers that keep electricity grids safe to operate.

Monitoring catches insulation failures, overheating and mechanical wear early, which helps cut greenhouse gas emissions, prevent outages, protect critical infrastructure and extend equipment life.

You join the monitoring R&D team in Germany and help keep power systems reliable as the energy transition advances worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic projects with internal and external suppliers and partners.
  • Bring new monitoring solutions for power grids to market.
  • Cover the whole monitoring chain, from sensors and embedded devices through to cloud integration.
  • Lead the development of complex hardware-software systems in an agile, cross-functional global team.
  • Keep your skills current so you can run complex R&D projects well.
  • Align diverse stakeholders through clear, structured and collaborative communication.

Requirements

  • Project management experience in product R&D, using agile SCRUM or the classic gate model.
  • Hands-on project execution and requirements engineering, including functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience with IoT technologies and software engineering for embedded devices.
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • English at C1 level or higher and German at B1 level or higher.
  • Willingness to travel for business occasionally, under 10% of your time.
