The company is looking for a senior product manager to lead regional execution and commercial results for its shuttle and ultra-high-density storage products, with the regional AMCS team as the main point of contact.
The role links AMCS customer and market needs to the company's global case and tote storage strategy. You turn product strategy into workable roadmaps, lead cross-functional development and launch work, and make sure each product can be sold, delivered, supported and improved over its life.
You need sound commercial judgment, a working grasp of the technology and hands-on skill in leading execution. You will build business cases with engineering and operations teams and keep the focus on products that deliver customer value and profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Build and own execution roadmaps, schedules, milestones and delivery plans for your product lines.
Run the tollgate process from TG00 to TG90, covering review readiness, closing risks, documenting decisions, managing cycle time and hitting dates.
Manage products through new introduction, beta deployment, commercial release, sustaining, modernization and sunset.
Keep product requirements, lifecycle status, configuration expectations and evidence of commercial readiness current.
Rank development and sustaining work by customer impact, commercial value, execution risk and strategic fit.
Where no project manager is assigned, lead the cross-functional team and set a regular rhythm for status, risks, dependencies, escalations and decisions.
Protect the accuracy of product business cases and keep development spending within approved budgets and investment assumptions.
Track and report product-line results, including orders, revenue, margin, win, loss and drop analysis, investment and major commercial risks.
Support market-based pricing, value proposition work, sales enablement and regional opportunity reviews.
Supply product inputs for STRAP, AOP, budget prioritization and lifecycle planning.
Act as the main case and tote storage product partner for AMCS sales, solution development, project execution, customer service, manufacturing, procurement and regional leadership.
Take ownership of AMCS readiness and adoption of globally built products, including regional requirements, gaps, launch dependencies and execution limits.
Make sure AMCS priorities shape global product decisions while keeping regional variations to a minimum.
Support AMCS customer opportunities, beta sites, modernization needs and serious field issues.
Gather customer and project feedback and turn it into ranked product improvements.
Work closely with global Product Management, R&D and sustaining teams.
Work with R&D and engineering to set requirements, weigh technical trade-offs, manage risk and keep development on schedule.
Coordinate procurement, manufacturing, quality, solution development, project execution, customer service, marketing, technical publications, training and external partners.
Maintain the product tools and artifacts you are responsible for, including GPC, SRRs, requirements, roadmap content and Solution Delivery documents.
Make sure documentation, training, configuration information, application guidance and sales materials are ready before commercial release.
Work with marketing and communications on launches, customer materials, internal updates, demonstrations and trade-show support.
Ensure the company can consistently deliver, commission, service and support its product commitments.
Build a working understanding of AMCS customer needs, market trends, competitor offerings and project challenges.
Engage customers and customer-facing teams to gather feedback and find improvement opportunities.
Advocate for the customer while balancing standardization, technical feasibility, lifecycle cost and business case integrity.
Help sales and solution teams judge product fit, spot gaps and shape repeatable solutions.
Base roadmap and investment decisions on market data, competitive insight, customer feedback and project experience.
Own the Dematic Multishuttle line and its shuttle, lift, racking, conveyor, extraction, controls and software elements.
Own ultra-high-density storage offerings, including AutoStore products and their integration capabilities.
Own emerging and adjacent case and tote technologies, including future shuttle and bin-to-person capabilities where assigned.
Own legacy products that need sustainment, modernization, transition or sunset planning, including Miniload where applicable.
Own the product interfaces needed for complete customer solutions, including workstations, controls, software and Solution Delivery artifacts.
