Workday is the trusted AI platform for enterprises across the world to manage their people and money. As a Product Manager in the Total Benefits product area, you will support our strategic partnership growth initiatives by building a new platform for benefits. Our mission is to reimagine how customers deliver exceptional benefits to employees while managing cost.

We are seeking a product leader to define and execute the vision for partner ecosystem integrations within our benefits platform. In this role, you will capitalize on platform economics to unlock new revenue opportunities, leading high-impact initiatives from initial strategy and zero-to-one product development through full-scale global deployment.

About the Role

You will own the product lifecycle from concept to launch, with an immediate focus on scaling out existing partner swimlanes while leading expansion efforts in new domains.

Your core mission is to think for the employer, employee and partner/provider at the same time, using technology to deliver value to each in their respective needs.

Responsibilities

  • Activate value for the ecosystem: leverage technology, strong relationships and GTM techniques to launch partner based solutions, communicate value and drive adoption
  • Prioritize for Cost to Value: Ruthlessly prioritize each sprint and the roadmap using data (customer usage, market analysis) and a clear focus on the highest-impact features for the ecosystem
  • Think AI-First: build intelligent, agent-based, or machine learning-powered solutions at every opportunity
  • Drive Product Definition & Execution: Write clear, concise product briefs while using AI to accelerate time to prototype and time to delivery alongside engineering, design and QA
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work across business development, partner success, and customer success as the product expert and foundation for successful GTM

Requirements

  • We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and execution-focused leader.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 2+ Years building for Marketplace, Platform or Ecosystem driven products that bring different types of customers together
  • 4+ years of SaaS Product Management experience designing, building, and implementing enterprise cloud applications.
  • Direct experience engaging in technology partnerships, co-development or GTM activities and navigating tradeoffs and compromises along the way
  • Exceptional ability to define, track, and communicate success metrics that directly correlate product features to customer value.
  • Hands on experience accelerating time to market using AI driven development tools, including Claude Suite and Loveable
  • A collaborative mindset and a history of successfully delivering products across multiple, internal stakeholder teams.
  • This position is based out of Pleasanton, California or Boulder, Colorado operating with a hybrid model (at least 50% in office).
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Functional domain experience in Benefits, Compensation or other Human Capital Management (HCM) products.
  • Prior experience in Health Tech, Data Exchanges and/or API Platforms
  • Workday Pay Transparency Statement

  • Our Approach to Flexible Work
  • With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
  • Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
  • Workday is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals during our application process, in order to perform one or more essential functions of their job, as well as regarding the use of AI tools for employment decision-making to any degree. Please see below for more details including how to request an accommodation as a qualified veteran, due to a disability or for religious reasons, or as otherwise provided under applicable law.
  • Workday prohibits taking adverse action against any candidate or employee for reporting a possible violation of this policy, requesting one or more work accommodations, exercising a privacy right, or cooperating in an investigation in accordance with applicable law. Any employee who retaliates against a candidate or employee for doing so may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, to the fullest extent allowable under applicable law.
