The company is building an AI-native culture. Staff are expected to test new ideas, adopt new tools, and keep raising what is possible for consumers.

The Product Development team owns the global product roadmap from concept to shelf, always keeping the consumer in view. Team members act as product leaders and work across almost every other function to improve customer satisfaction and business results. The group includes people from marketing, engineering, and other backgrounds, all aiming to deliver a 5-star experience on every product.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day business and improvements for some product lines of one brand, including product upgrades, optimizations, and user research.
  • Support key products of the other brand to keep the portfolio growing and profitable, working with engineers, marketers, and others to roll out enhancements that maintain a 5-star experience.
  • Define, develop, and refine product specifications by balancing consumer needs, gaps in the market, and available technology, acting as the main advocate for the consumer.
  • Own sales performance for your assigned categories, working with others to find which products succeed or fail and proposing new products to fill gaps.
  • Run competitive product analyses for business partners, showing how the company compares with rivals and how to keep making its products the consumer's first choice.
  • Represent legacy product lines by passing consumer and market insights to product developers focused on new product development, so key features and feedback reach next-generation products.
  • Work with the company's Testing and Quality teams to define, build, and manage quality and performance test procedures.
  • Serve as the product expert for questions and concerns from cross-functional team members.

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field. Consumer goods experience is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A consumer-first approach, at 100% commitment, whether launching new products or improving existing ones.
  • A mindset for building strong relationships across multiple teams, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and face-to-face communication is essential. You must write clear presentations and emails, hold concise conversations that solve problems, and present effectively to all levels of management.
  • Strong project management skills: you must set priorities, manage several projects at once, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
  • A willingness to learn and grow in an energetic environment.
  • The ability to accept openness and changing priorities, learn from every decision, and focus on what comes next.
