Senior Oracle DBA

Description

The team runs mission-critical database environments and needs a Senior Oracle DBA who can work independently and directly affect system stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Keep Oracle database environments running day to day, covering monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Install, configure, patch and upgrade Oracle infrastructure.
• Run backup, recovery and disaster recovery using RMAN, Data Guard and Commvault.
• Protect database availability, security and compliance, including access management and encryption.
• Take part in migration, implementation and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Write and update operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Lead automation, proactive monitoring and ongoing service improvement.
• Work with internal technical teams and other IT areas to keep the platform reliable and stable.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c and 19c.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, ASM, RMAN and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
• Experience administering and monitoring with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Experience with Commvault backup and recovery.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux, preferably Oracle Enterprise Linux.
• Experience scripting and automating operational tasks.
• Proven track record managing high-availability, production-critical environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
• English at B2 level or higher is mandatory.
• French is a plus.

Conditions

Hybrid work: 50% onsite and 50% remote.
