  • Produce ad hoc Zscaler reports for leadership and keep network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs current.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • 8+ years in network engineering, including 5+ years of hands-on Zscaler administration (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX).
  • Solid SASE architecture knowledge and proven Zscaler policy skills across SSL inspection, URL filtering, DLP, CASB, and threat protection.
  • Experience connecting Okta or another IdP to Zscaler using SAML and SCIM.
  • Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching, IPsec VPN, and firewalls, plus end-to-end troubleshooting with PCAP analysis in Wireshark.
  • Hands-on Cisco switching and IOS upgrade experience, and at least one enterprise firewall platform (Cisco ASA/Firepower or Palo Alto/Panorama).
  • Work in federal or enterprise settings with strict compliance and 99.9%+ uptime targets, with familiarity with NIST 800-53, TIC 3.0, and CISA BODs.
  • Formal change management experience and TLS certificate lifecycle management.
  • Clear communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred: Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP) or Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator (ZCCA).
  • Preferred: Okta Certified Professional or higher.
  • Preferred: experience with Cisco ISE, RSA SecurID, SolarWinds scripting, Azure networking (NSGs), Riverbed, Grafana, or Cribl.
