Description

The team builds GPU-accelerated libraries and SDKs that make large-scale AI, data analytics and scientific simulation faster on sparse data, covering LLMs, computer-aided engineering, quantum chemistry, autonomous vehicles and computer vision.

You will help design libraries and tools that handle unstructured sparsity in deep learning and high-performance computing, working alongside other developers on sparse tensor generalizations, DSL specifications for sparse storage formats, and on-demand code generation.

The role suits engineers who already build accelerated computing software and want to push forward the state of the art across accelerated domains and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build a C++ system that makes unstructured sparse computing in deep learning and HPC simpler and faster on the company GPUs.
  • Make the system usable from Python and PyTorch, the languages and frameworks deep learning practitioners use most.
  • Measure and tune the system's performance on real applications.
  • Improve library quality, speed and maintainability by writing effective, well-tested production code.
  • Work with product management and internal and external partners to pin down feature and performance needs and help shape technical roadmaps.

Requirements

  • A BS, MS or PhD in computer science, applied math or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years developing, debugging and optimizing high-performance C++ software with parallel programming, ideally for sparse linear algebra using CUDA, MPI, OpenMP or equivalent.
  • Experience designing domain-specific languages and compiler optimizations, particularly sparse compilers such as MLIR or TACO.
  • Strong C++, Python and CUDA skills.
  • Clear collaboration, communication and documentation habits. Experience working in a globally distributed organization is ideal.

Conditions

Applications are accepted at least until November 3, 2026.
