The company is a fan-founded anime business that serves more than 100 million fans in over 200 countries and territories, online and in person, through streaming, theatrical releases, games, merchandise and events.
The company is an independently operated joint venture between Sony Pictures Entertainment (US) and Aniplex (Japan), both subsidiaries of Sony Group Corporation in Tokyo.
This role runs the regional execution side of the marketing operating model, linking regional marketing with the company's global operational teams.
As the Europe-based counterpart to global operations and content and marketing teams, you will work especially closely with integrated planning, campaign operations, marketing production and marketing delivery.
Responsibilities
Run day-to-day marketing operations for the region, turning global and regional strategies into concrete plans, milestones, asset needs, localization requirements and schedules, and keep a current view of readiness from planning through delivery.
Own localization for every marketing asset the region uses, whether it comes from a global campaign or a regional one, covering copy, key art, trailers, video, social, paid media, CRM, partner and promotional material. Manage translation, transcreation, cultural adaptation, versioning, reviews, approvals, quality checks and final delivery against deadlines. Stay accountable for regional readiness while working with global localization on standards, tools, vendors, terminology and quality.
Work with integrated planning to fold regional launches, campaigns, tentpoles, local initiatives and market needs into the global plan, flagging early any local lead times, resource limits and risks.
Tell marketing production about regional requirements early, set the versions and formats needed, make sure global source files can be adapted easily, and request region-specific material only where global assets fall short.
For campaigns started in the region, manage the link between local creative briefs and the right production resources.
Work with marketing delivery to make sure final assets reach the right regional destinations on time. Coordinate channel specs, deadlines and partner needs, and escalate clearly when assets are missing, wrong, late or not deliverable.
Bring regional marketing, content, social, CRM, paid media, partnerships, brand, PR and other local teams into one shared view of execution, showing asset status, localization progress, production milestones, delivery readiness, risks and open decisions.
Set readiness checkpoints for priority campaigns and launches to confirm source assets, localized versions, formats, approvals, metadata, specs and destinations are complete. Resolve risks with the relevant teams before activation.
Manage operational needs specific to the region, such as local platforms, commercial partners, media channels, regulatory points, language, cultural adaptation and local formats. Pass them to global teams early enough to fit production and delivery.
Act as the regional control point when asset, localization, production or delivery problems threaten a campaign. Lead cross-functional triage, own the issue until it is resolved, update regional stakeholders, and escalate systemic issues to global teams.
Track performance on campaign readiness, on-time assets, localization turnaround, production delivery, error rates, rework and recurring issues. Propose changes that simplify workflows, improve handoffs, cut duplicate work, automate repetitive tasks and help the operating model scale.
