Description

The company is a payments business that has operated for more than 25 years, serving hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers in about 200 markets.

This senior lifecycle marketing role sits in the company's peer-to-peer payments subsidiary and covers email, push, and in-app messaging.

The main growth focus is the company's checkout option for everyday purchases, which is accepted at 140K+ merchants online and in-app and is moving beyond paying friends.

You will shape the customer journeys that bring people to their first checkout, encourage repeat purchases, and keep them engaged over time.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run lifecycle growth strategies across email, push, and in-app channels to lift engagement, conversion, and adoption of key products, with a strong focus on the checkout option.
  • Map journeys from first awareness and first checkout through repeat purchases at merchants, covering acquisition, post-purchase, and re-engagement.
  • Design and run A/B tests on audiences, messages, timing, channels, and incentives to improve conversion, repeat use, ROI, and incremental lift.
  • Work with data and technical teams on audience segments, personalization, and measurement frameworks for first-use and repeat-use programs.
  • Review campaign results and customer behavior, then turn findings into clear recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Write creative briefs, direct agency and creative partners, give feedback, and coordinate reviews with Legal, Product, Product Marketing, and Brand.
  • Work with Product, Analytics, Marketing Operations, and other teams to find new lifecycle opportunities and keep improving the customer experience.
  • Refine integrations between marketing tools so campaign tracking and measurement stay accurate.
  • Work with Marketing Operations to check campaigns for quality before they launch.

Requirements

  • Minimum: at least 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: 3, 5 years of marketing experience, at least 2 of them in CRM, lifecycle, retention, or growth marketing.
  • Preferred: hands-on campaign experience across email and at least one mobile channel such as push notifications, in-app messaging, or SMS.
  • Preferred: experience developing experimentation strategies and using A/B testing to guide campaign and lifecycle decisions.
  • Preferred: strong project management, a sharp eye for detail, and clear prioritization across several workstreams at once.
  • Preferred: a record of measurable results in an agile, fast-moving environment.
  • Preferred: comfortable building strong relationships across technical, creative, product, analytics, and business teams.
  • Preferred: strong written and verbal communication, able to turn complex strategies and results into clear advice for partners and leadership.
  • Preferred: highly analytical, comfortable using campaign, behavioral, and financial metrics to find growth and optimize journeys.
  • Preferred: experience with Braze, Adobe, or other enterprise consumer marketing automation platforms and/or CDPs.
  • Preferred: a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Preferred: financial services, fintech, e-commerce, payments, or commerce experience is a plus but not required.
