About the Role:

As a Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering, you will lead the execution and ongoing evolution of our established Associate Solutions Engineering (ASE) training and deployment program for early-in-career SE talent. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for education, and a deep understanding of what it takes to be a world-class Solutions Engineer.

You will oversee the execution and continuous improvement of our rigorous ASE bootcamp, helping develop high-potential Associate Solutions Engineers into capable, value-driven technical sellers ready to deploy to the field. You will maintain and evolve the program as the organization grows, introducing new approaches where needed while ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for every cohort.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the ASE bootcamp, keeping the curriculum aligned to product knowledge, technical acumen, value-based selling, competitive differentiation, and professional skills.
  • Maintain clear milestones, assessments, and graduation criteria while using participant feedback and post-deployment performance data to improve outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent, scalable program operations and introduce new content and learning experiences as business needs evolve.
  • Coaching, Mentorship, & Enablement
  • Coach and develop Associate Solutions Engineers through classroom training, labs, and simulated sales scenarios—including discovery calls, customized demos, and POCs.
  • Build foundational SE excellence through technical credibility, value-based demonstrations, executive presence, and professional communication.
  • Provide timely, actionable feedback and individualized development plans to support successful field deployment.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Deployment
  • Partner with Field SE Management, Sales Enablement, and Recruiting to onboard, develop, and deploy ASE graduates into the right field roles across segments.
  • Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing to keep training current on product capabilities and competitive differentiators.
  • Track program health, graduation outcomes, and post-deployment performance, using feedback from field leaders and ASE graduates to strengthen the program.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of pre-sales leadership experience or a combination of Solutions Engineering management and formal enablement or training leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in office.
  • Proven background as an individual contributor Solutions Engineer with a track record of success in technical selling of complex SaaS, platform, and/or IoT/AI/ML solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical sales training, bootcamps, or structured mentorship programs; experience improving established programs is highly valued.
  • A strong passion for developing early-in-career talent, with a proven ability to provide constructive feedback and foster rapid skill development.
  • Expertise in SE and value-based selling frameworks, such as MEDDPICC, Demo2Win, and Great Demo!
  • Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; must be a compelling and engaging instructor and trainer.
