Description

The company is a global technology and professional services firm that serves US government agencies, defense and the intelligence community with technology and mission services.

The company has about 26,000 staff and operates in more than 50 countries, with work in AI, cloud, cyber and software development.

This role sits in the IT Infrastructure and Operations job family and is a regular position.

You would tailor solutions to each client's requirements, drawing on a background in application development and keeping the end user's experience at the centre of the work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier III support by reviewing and analysing patches and updates, and test the baseline in the Engineering Operations Facility (EOF) before it is released to the RCCs.
  • Design and define system architecture for new and existing computer systems.
  • Write Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs) that explain how to apply patches, upgrades, security configurations and updates to the EOF baseline, with testing carried out in line with the STIGs.
  • Keep Linux systems that are already in service compliant with the baseline and with enterprise policy as it changes, in a way similar to Group Policy for Windows.
  • Monitor every integrated solution through a central alerting system.
  • Build an operating system lifecycle plan that brings in DoW STIGs and other recommended security standards.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of related experience, or substitute an additional 4 years of experience for the degree.
  • Hold a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2.
  • Have experience managing and administering VMware.
  • Have thorough experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu or a derivative.
  • Know the Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and DISA's current hardening protocol.
  • Have experience in systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and engineering.
  • Be a US citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
  • Be able to obtain IAT level III certification.

Conditions

This is a full-time, onsite role at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, USA, with a 40-hour scheduled week.

Travel is required for less than 10% of the time.

The likely salary range is $88,130 to $117,875. This is not a guarantee, as pay depends on experience, geographic location and possibly contract requirements, and may fall outside this range.

You must currently hold a Secret clearance and be able to obtain one, and no public trust or other clearance is required.

As part of hiring, you will complete an identity verification process using biometrics and AI, and you must be on camera for virtual interviews. By going ahead you authorise the collection and use of your biometric data for verification and security.

The company is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

Benefits

  • Medical plans, some with Health Savings Accounts, plus dental and vision plans.
  • A 401(k) that accepts pre-tax and post-tax contributions up to IRS annual limits, with a company match.
  • Flexible work weeks where possible and a range of paid leave, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave.
  • Short and long-term disability, life, accidental death and dismemberment, personal accident, critical illness, and business travel and accident insurance, either provided or available.
  • Reimbursement of the IAT level III exam cost after you start work.
  • An AI-powered career tool that suggests career steps and learning, and an internal mobility team to help you reach your goals.
  • A military-friendly workplace with an award-winning culture of innovation.
