Senior iOS Developer (m/f/d)

Description

The company is Europe's largest e-pharmacy and builds its mobile platform in-house. This role shapes the architecture behind that platform, which six cross-functional teams use to ship features.

Your work will be visible across the team and will directly affect how the iOS ecosystem grows as the company scales.

Tech stack: Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swift Testing, Xcode Cloud, Swift packages, SPM, latest iOS SDK.

Responsibilities

• Break the app into modules and keep evolving a scalable iOS architecture.
• Set and refine technical standards and architecture guidelines.
• Make CI/CD faster and more reliable, and improve build performance and release processes.
• Build out the testing strategy and set quality baselines that all teams can use.
• Raise app stability, performance and overall technical health.
• Review and guide key architecture decisions across several teams.
• Pay down technical debt deliberately, while using platform work to unblock product teams.

Requirements

• Deep Swift skills and experience with large production apps.
• Solid grasp of modular architecture and scalable app structure.
• Hands-on experience with Clean Architecture, MVVM or a similar pattern.
• Working knowledge of modern concurrency and memory management on iOS.
• Solid unit testing experience and a track record of raising test coverage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and an understanding of release processes.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills, and the ability to work well across teams.

Conditions

Office-based or remote work is arranged individually, depending on whether the role requires on-site presence.

Remote work is possible for up to 20 days per year from anywhere in the EU.
