Description

The company is an advertising technology business whose platform automates campaign optimization at very large scale and connects brand and performance marketing across programmatic and other channels.

The Product-Led Growth team is newly formed and works on the self-serve advertiser experience, helping customers find the platform, get set up, and launch campaigns.

The team works with Product, Design, and other engineering groups to simplify complicated workflows and improve how advertisers use the platform, with a direct effect on customer acquisition, activation, and growth.

The company is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help lead a growing full-stack engineering team.

The role is remote, and the company is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada.

The company's stack includes GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL, and engineers work on production code that handles large data sets.

Responsibilities

  • Build customer-facing features that help advertisers discover, adopt, and get value from the platform.
  • Work with Product and Design to understand customer needs and turn unclear problems into iterative solutions.
  • Own features from start to finish across the frontend and backend, focusing on interfaces that are intuitive, fast, and scalable.
  • Use customer feedback, product data, and experiments to make decisions, measure results, and improve your work over time.
  • Break down ideas and customer problems into coherent, iterative plans.
  • Design scalable frontend code, web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems that support the team's roadmap.
  • Weigh speed, scalability, customer impact, and engineering quality when solving complex problems.
  • Improve engineering quality through code and technical reviews, mentoring others, and finding ways to boost performance and reduce technical complexity.

Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of experience building high-performance web applications and customer-facing products.
  • You bring strong full-stack experience, especially on the frontend and in product development.
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go is highly preferred.
  • You have worked closely with Product and Design to design, build, and refine end-to-end product experiences.
  • You think like a customer and use their needs to guide product and technical choices.
  • You have used product data, customer feedback, and A/B testing or other experimentation to guide decisions and measure impact.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, can break down complex problems, and bring clarity in a fast-moving product environment.
  • You have written well-tested software and analyzed, benchmarked, and optimized web application performance across the stack.

Conditions

The posted base salary range is $170,400 - $234,300 CAD. It is based on a global rate for candidates located in the posting country, and final offers are aligned to the candidate's current location.

The range covers base salary only. Depending on the role, you may also be eligible for annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a full benefits package.

Final pay depends on your experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications, along with business factors such as organizational needs and budget.

The company does not ask about current or past salary and will not use that information, if volunteered, to set an offer.

Benefits and perks vary by country of employment and type of engagement. Where the company has no legal entity, employment and benefits follow local rules and partner policies.

The company offers accommodations on request throughout the hiring process.

The company uses AI to help review resumes against the posted criteria, but does not use it to make final hiring or interview decisions.

The company welcomes applicants of all backgrounds and identities.

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Retirement savings plan or pension, depending on location.

  • Access to a comprehensive mental health care program.
