Senior Full Stack Engineer

Description

The company is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for its New York City team, working on its internal billing platform and OneVerify, its main customer-facing product.

You will own large parts of the product from backend architecture through front-end performance, and work across teams to turn user feedback into simple, high-impact solutions.

The company wants someone who does more than ship features: someone who solves problems on their own, weighs tradeoffs carefully, and works with product to decide what gets built.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale new features across Node.js, React and TypeScript
• Take projects through their full lifecycle, from concept and implementation to deployment and monitoring
• Work with product and design to refine ideas and ship intuitive, high-impact user experiences
• Tackle hard technical and product problems, favouring simple, scalable solutions
• Keep code clean, testable and reliable
• Lead and mentor teammates, shaping architecture and ongoing process improvements
• Explore new tools and ideas that make the systems smarter and faster

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of full stack development experience with strong backend and frontend skills
• Proficiency in Node.js, React and TypeScript
• Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services and microservices architecture
• Experience with B2B products or enterprise workflows
• Able to work independently, lead projects and deliver results in a demanding pace of work
• Strong collaborator with a team-first attitude
• You must currently live in the NYC metro area
• Preferred: previous Tech Lead experience, or a proven record of turning user feedback into working technical solutions
• Preferred: startup experience and a strong product mindset
• Preferred: healthcare experience, though not required
• Preferred: interest in mental health, healthcare or fintech innovation

Conditions

Base salary of $160K to $210K plus equity, depending on experience

Hybrid role with 3 days a week in the New York City office
