Senior Front End Developer (Vue / Nuxt)

Description

The company is a European firm in customer experience and digital transformation with 2,200 people across 12 countries. It works from strategy through to delivering clients' technology, building high-performance architectures and customer-facing experiences.

You would join a product team that owns the Product Listing Page of the company's eCommerce application, helping move the existing shop and website to a composable, MACH-based setup built on Vue.js and Nuxt 4.

The work centres on server-side rendered frontends and complete user flows, with priorities that may shift as the team and business change.

Responsibilities

• Help migrate the current eCommerce platform and website to a composable MACH architecture using Vue.js and Nuxt 4, with a focus on the Product Listing Page.
• Design, build and maintain scalable SSR frontend applications and end-to-end user journeys.
• Ship new features, improve performance and raise code quality to keep customer experiences getting better.
• Own frontend work from technical design through implementation, testing and production release.
• Use AI-powered development tools and coding agents for development, refactoring, testing and problem-solving, keeping engineering standards high.
• Take part in Scrum ceremonies, especially refinement, technical discussions and solution design.
• Work closely with backend engineers, product owners, UX/UI designers and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience shipping production frontend applications.
• Strong TypeScript, Vue.js and Nuxt skills.
• A track record of building, maintaining and scaling production frontends, with concrete projects and technical decisions you can talk through.
• A solid grasp of CSR, SSR, SSG, hydration and client-server communication.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, component design, state management, API integration and performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and production delivery practices.
• Fluent English.
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants and agentic tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar in real engineering work.

Conditions

Permanent contract.

Hybrid work with 1 day in the office per week.

Monday to Friday schedule with flexible hours, shorter Fridays and a summer schedule.
