Senior Digital Designer

Description

The company offers payments, data and financial products together in one platform for large customers, and aims to be the leading fintech platform of choice.

The team builds for scale and works together to solve hard technical problems.

This role sits in the Global Marketing team, is based in the Amsterdam office and reports to the Global Design Team Lead.

The main focus is the company website. You will create templates and components that follow the website design system and support demand generation, demand capture and engagement on the site.

You will work alongside Product Management, Front End Development and UX, so a systems-thinking approach helps.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality digital experiences that follow the design system and the brand and design guidelines.
• Create responsive designs for the website.
• Scope work and test feasibility with engineers, balancing reuse of existing design system parts with new elements.
• Run several projects at the same time, from first idea through final delivery.
• Own your projects and keep timelines and quality standards on track.
• Work with marketing, product management and development to keep teams aligned and deliver results.
• Spot project problems early and find solutions that keep the goals in view.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, templates and asset libraries that other teams and regions can use.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and handle difficult conversations clearly and confidently.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience as a digital designer.
• Strong UI, UX and design system skills, with knowledge of what it takes to build a commercial website at scale.
• Expert use of Figma and Adobe CC, and comfort using AI tools to build solutions that speed up and improve your design work.
• Clear, data-driven reasoning, with designs built for scalability.
• A portfolio that shows component and systems work, responsive design and success metrics.
• A team player who collaborates fully in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and push projects forward, while staying open to iteration and feedback.
• Comfortable coaching colleagues and guiding freelancers and agencies to produce on-brand assets for business needs.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Nice to have: experience in agencies or B2B settings is a plus.

Conditions

Based in the Amsterdam office. The company is office-first and does not offer remote-only roles.

Some domestic and international travel is required.
