Senior DevOps Engineer

Description

The role is Senior DevOps Engineer at Lead IC level, shaping technical direction for platform delivery and cloud infrastructure in your area.

You will tackle hard engineering problems, advise others on design and architecture choices, and lift the engineering standard through reusable patterns, automation and hands-on help.

Your work supports consistent, high-quality, secure and scalable solutions that speed up delivery and cut duplication across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a new multi-tenant architecture in Microsoft Azure, helping set long-term technical direction and how the platform evolves.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across different technology stacks so deployments are fast, reliable and secure.
• Deliver cloud and infrastructure capabilities that are excellent, sustainable and predictable, and ready to operate.
• Work on market data solutions spanning hybrid cloud and on-premises systems, keeping them reliable, reducing latency and securing data flows.
• Investigate platform-level faults, fix them, prevent them from coming back, and make the system more stable and resilient.
• Watch performance, availability and health so issues are visible and operational events get a quick response.
• Keep all environments secure, compliant and governed, and make delivery risk-aware.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and platform operations with cloud-native tools and infrastructure as code.
• Lead by example through code reviews, architecture discussions and reusable engineering patterns.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience delivering across infrastructure, networking, platform engineering and automation.
• Ability to guide design decisions within a team, drawing on deep domain knowledge.
• Proven record of building secure, observable and scalable engineering solutions.
• Azure, including multi-tenant architecture.
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Git, Maven and current CI/CD tooling.
• Kubernetes, Docker and container-based deployments.
• Operating systems such as Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux, RHEL and Windows.
• Experience with market data platforms or financial ecosystem solutions is a strong plus.
• Design solutions around how customers actually use the product and the operational realities they face.
• Own customer-facing issues, respond quickly, and use insight and feedback to strengthen systems.
• Drive safe and secure delivery across infrastructure and platform layers.
• Weigh trade-offs carefully, anticipate risks, and build resilience and readiness into systems and practices.

Conditions

The anticipated annual gross base salary is 265,000 zł to 419,000 zł, and it may vary by location.

The role is also eligible for the annual bonus plan, with the target percentage set by role level and career stage.

Pay reflects job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
