Senior Developer (Multiple Positions Available)

Description

This is a senior developer role with multiple openings at the company's Reston, Virginia office. You will build complex product features as part of a development team.

The company builds enterprise applications and business AI for finance, procurement, HR, supply chain and customer experience. Its work reaches more than 20 industries and 80% of global commerce.

The company has operated for over 50 years and works with a global base of customers, partners and employees.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test and quality-check complex features for the product.

• When you act as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, help everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules and values. Serve the Product Owner and Development Team as a servant-leader, run Scrum events when requested or needed, coach the team toward self-organization and clear the obstacles slowing it down.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, information technology or a related field, plus six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job or a related occupation.
• Or a master's degree or foreign equivalent in those fields, plus four years of experience in the job or a related occupation.
• Four years of experience in each of the following:
• Building TypeScript and JavaScript components and frameworks.
• Connecting user interfaces to REST and OData APIs.
• Building modern enterprise apps with web UI frameworks such as UI5 Web Components, React and OpenUI5.
• Making web applications accessible under ADA Section 508 and WCAG guidelines.
• Writing clean code and practicing test-driven development with Jest, Playwright and Cypress.
• Running continuous integration and delivery with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Three years of experience in each of the following:
• Working with LLM concepts, including prompt engineering and structured outputs.
• Using MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar inter-agent communication standards.
• Regularly using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and Cursor.
• Travel: N/A

Conditions

Hybrid work at the Reston, Virginia office located at 2000 Edmund Halley Drive, Suite 400, Reston, VA 20191.

The annual base salary range is $168,261 - $216,128.

The targeted combined range, including base salary and variable incentive target, is $168,261 - $245,600.

The actual offer will fall within that range and depends on the key aspects of each case, which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location and the selection process.

Variable incentive payouts are target-based and depend on company and personal performance.
