Description

You will join the Technology Consulting team, which helps clients rethink how they use data. The team delivers complete data platform and analytics solutions in cloud environments for international and Czech clients.

The team includes data engineers, architects, analysts and technology consultants who like tackling hard business problems with current tools.

The Data Engineering group sits within Data Management in Technology Consulting and is led by a Senior Manager who also acts as Cloud Data Platform Architect and Delivery Manager. The manager helps clients build, modernize and migrate data platforms, runs data migrations for core system replacements, and turns data into measurable business results. Recent work includes Data and AI projects across Europe and Canada.

This role suits a data professional who wants to move up, take on more responsibility for data engineering projects, work with cloud technologies and modern data platforms, and begin shaping technical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines on Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric and cloud-native services, working with colleagues on the design.
  • Create and automate processes for ingesting, transforming, validating and loading data.
  • Build integrations between databases, applications, APIs and cloud platforms.
  • Work on both batch and real-time data processing.
  • Take part in cloud migration and modern data platform projects.
  • Analyse technical problems and find durable fixes.
  • Write technical documentation and help shape engineering best practices.
  • Work alongside business analysts, architects, developers and testers.
  • Run technical workshops and explain complex topics to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Solid background in software development and data engineering, with a logical, analytical approach to solving problems.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Python, Git, databases and object-oriented programming (OOP), plus a real drive to keep building your technical knowledge.
  • Proven delivery experience on at least one of Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric or cloud technologies.
  • You can turn technical designs into clear explanations for non-technical clients and feel confident leading technical workshops with clients or stakeholders.
  • Would help you stand out: practical work with data warehousing, data lakes, Lakehouse architecture, data modeling, data quality, operational data stores or data mastering.
  • Would help you stand out: hands-on experience and certification on Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Would help you stand out: use of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices or automated testing on real projects.
  • Would help you stand out: solid experience with Databricks, PySpark, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow, BigQuery or similar tools.
  • Would help you stand out: early hands-on work with AI, LLMs and AI agents, such as API use, prompt engineering, Knowledge Graph or RAG.
