The Technology Consulting team helps organisations get more value from their data, working on modern data platforms, analytics, reporting and transformation projects for large clients across industries.

The team pairs strong technical skill with a practical business focus, aiming for solutions with clear, measurable results.

The Data Management team is led by a Director who combines the roles of data architect and delivery data lead, building large-scale data platforms and using data and AI to automate complex processes, saving clients thousands of hours of operational work.

This senior role suits an experienced data professional who can own complex analytical problems and influence how clients use their data.

  • Analyse large datasets to find business insights, safeguard data quality and lead process improvements.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders, turning their business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead and mentor junior analysts and support their growth.
  • Own projects from end to end: analysis, design, implementation and handover.
  • Champion data quality, governance and continuous improvement across engagements.
  • Connect business and technology by turning data into recommendations you can act on.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on work in data analytics, data management, BI or a related field.
  • Solid command of SQL, ETL and ELT processes, data warehousing, data quality and data governance principles.
  • Practical experience with analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python or R, or similar.
  • Clear communication, able to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.
  • A client-facing approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Would help you stand out: experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Would help you stand out: understanding of modern architecture concepts such as Data Lakehouse or Data Mesh.
  • Would help you stand out: experience with master data management and data governance initiatives.
  • Would help you stand out: a proven record of delivering across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation.
  • Would help you stand out: experience leading, coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Would help you stand out: a background in banking, financial services or insurance.
