Description

The company is Germany's leading car subscription platform and one of the few unicorns in the country's mobility sector.

Over 400 colleagues from more than 40 nations build the future of mobility, with a focus on making access to your own car simpler.

The team is driven, likes to question the status quo, and wants to make a real impact.

It is a scale-up and one of the fastest-growing in Germany, so you can take direct ownership and help shape its success.

Responsibilities

  • As Senior Business Intelligence Manager, you act as the guide for the Operations department and own planning and controlling for a P&L in the nine-digit range across four units.
  • You work with the SVP Operations, the Operations leadership teams and the Finance department to judge performance against goals, measure the real effect of initiatives, spot ways to improve and prepare and check the numbers behind critical business decisions.
  • Lead the annual budget planning across four units with the Finance department, setting the strategic direction for the coming year.
  • Own monthly controlling of plan against actuals, which feeds the monthly management reporting and sets department priorities.
  • Equip Operations teams with insights, dashboards and data-based decision support.
  • Turn operational metrics into strategic insights, test plans and figures on substance, assess the impact of initiatives and act on the results.
  • Build AI-powered decision tools and business case models, for example to guide add-on products from pricing and take rates through to profitability.
  • Choose your own priorities, flag opportunities and risks early and push them forward.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Business Analytics, Econometrics or a related field.
  • Several years of relevant experience in planning and controlling, FP&A or business intelligence, ideally from consulting or a start-up with a high tempo.
  • Practical experience using AI to solve business problems, from analysis through to building your own tools and automations.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management, good business judgement, and the ability to move topics across teams without direct authority while working independently with little guidance.
  • Excellent English communication skills at C2 level.
  • Background in automotive operations, fleet management, supply chain logistics or subscription business models.
  • Good German skills.

Conditions

The company is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes all people regardless of age, colour, origin, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status or other legally protected characteristics.

Benefits

  • Virtual Stock Option Program (VSOP), which shares in the long-term growth and success of the company.
  • An annual development budget of 1.500 € for further training and seminars, which you choose yourself.
  • A monthly childcare subsidy, exclusive access to daycare places in Munich and flexibility to balance work and family.
  • An employer pension contribution of 66% toward your company pension plan.
  • A 25% employee discount on a car subscription, or a bike leasing scheme as an alternative.
  • A subsidised EGYM Wellpass membership for fitness and sports, plus professional mental health support.
  • Barista-style coffee, matcha and fruit at the modern Munich headquarters, and a daily lunch allowance.
  • Regular team events, from summer outings by the lake to relaxed after-work drinks.
