Description

You will be a hands-on analysis partner for business stakeholders and the Enterprise Productivity technology teams.

Your core work is partnering with EP Tech Leads to uncover business needs, frame problems, gather and write requirements, assess use cases, and confirm that proposed and delivered work meets the agreed need.

You will also give the EP Owner a brief, current view of each stream's status. This supports the main analysis role, which is about helping business and technology teams reach clear, evidence-based decisions.

The company is a consumer intelligence firm formed in 2023 through a merger with GfK. It is part of Advent International's portfolio, operates in 100+ markets and covers over 90% of the world's population.

Responsibilities

  • Find operational pain points, user needs, process gaps, improvement ideas and use cases worth assessing.
  • Work directly with Tech Leads, business sponsors, subject matter experts and users across the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Plan and run interviews, discovery sessions and workshops to clarify current processes, business rules, constraints, desired outcomes and affected users.
  • Review incomplete or conflicting inputs, surface gaps and assumptions, and turn them into a clear problem statement and agreed scope.
  • Produce analysis artifacts such as process maps, user journeys, functional and nonfunctional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and decision records.
  • Trace each requirement from the original business need through design, delivery, validation and release, keeping changes and open questions visible.
  • Manage requirement changes and explain their effect on scope, users, dependencies, controls and expected outcomes.
  • For each use case, define the business value, target users, expected outcomes, scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks and success measures.
  • Constructively challenge unclear requests and solution-first assumptions, helping stakeholders separate the real need from a preferred fix.
  • Give Tech Leads the business context and stakeholder access they need to judge feasibility, options and delivery impact.
  • Arrange business review of requirements, prototypes, proofs of concept and delivered capabilities at the right points.
  • Check that acceptance criteria and validation evidence cover the original problem and agreed outcomes, and escalate material gaps or changes.
  • Build working relationships with sponsors, users, subject matter experts, Tech Leads, product and delivery partners and control functions.
  • Set clear expectations for participation, decisions, approvals and validation activities.
  • Lead discussions where needs or requirements conflict, record the result, and escalate open decisions with clear options and implications.
  • Help affected users understand changes and help sponsors judge whether the intended need was met during adoption and outcome reviews.
  • Help the EP Owner keep a concise, current view of each stream covering status, milestones, blockers, risks, dependencies, decisions and next actions.
  • Collect and verify updates with stream owners, and point leadership toward material changes and items needing a decision or intervention.

Requirements

  • Substantial hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst in a technology-driven enterprise.
  • Proven record of eliciting, analyzing, documenting and validating complex business and system requirements with several stakeholder groups.
  • Strong skills in process analysis, problem definition, use case assessment, requirements management and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, negotiation and written communication, including the confidence to challenge ambiguity and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Ability to build clear process models, user stories, requirements, business cases, decision records and short status summaries.
  • Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail, linking detailed requirements to wider business outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery and common lifecycle controls from discovery through release and benefits validation.
  • Ability to keep a simple status view across several streams without losing focus on detailed analysis work.
  • Proficiency with collaboration, requirements, process modeling, tracking and reporting tools used in enterprise technology environments.
  • Preferred: experience supporting enterprise productivity, automation, artificial intelligence, data, analytics or internal platform initiatives.
  • Preferred: experience assessing AI or automation use cases, including data readiness, adoption, responsible use and measurable business value.
  • Preferred: familiarity with change management, process improvement, benefits realization or portfolio governance.
