Description

The company is building AI and automation tools that turn sustainability data into faster insights, predictions and decisions.

You will work in the ESG Services group, which supplies the trusted data and intelligence the company relies on to cut its environmental footprint, make products and consumer choices more sustainable, and scale impact through innovation.

The work applies agentic AI, automation, data engineering and cloud technology to difficult sustainability problems, moving ideas from early experiments to secure, reusable solutions for a global business.

Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, build and scale AI and automation solutions that make sustainability data faster to act on through insights, predictions, decisions and actions.
  • Apply agentic AI, predictive analytics and intelligent workflows to climate, water, packaging and waste, nature, product life-cycle impact and sustainability reporting.
  • Help the company shift from looking back at sustainability reports to spotting anomalies, improving data quality and anticipating problems early.
  • Build trusted data models, features, quality controls, ETL and ELT pipelines, APIs and distributed processing that support auditable ESG reporting and compliance.
  • Test emerging AI models and technologies, and turn the strongest ones into secure, responsible, production-ready capabilities other sustainability teams can reuse.
  • Write high-quality, tested, standards-compliant code, and contribute reusable components, tools and engineering practices that help innovation scale.
  • Deploy and run cloud-native solutions using modern DevOps, CI/CD, automation and responsible engineering practices.
  • Work with sustainability experts, product teams, data professionals, architects and engineers to put sustainability insight into the workflows where product, operational and business decisions are made.

Requirements

  • Solid foundations in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, automation or cloud engineering, and the ability to turn complex, unclear problems into practical solutions.
  • Hands-on programming experience and a commitment to clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
  • Experience with modern data platforms, pipelines, APIs, cloud services and DevOps or CI/CD practices.
  • Curiosity about generative and agentic AI, analytics, automation and emerging technology, with an experimental mindset and a focus on responsible, scalable adoption.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, and the ability to link technology options to business and sustainability results.
  • A drive to keep learning and an interest in using technology for environmental challenges. Prior ESG experience is welcome but not required.
