Description

The company runs a network for trusted trade. Its AI-powered product helps governments and businesses make global supply chains more resilient and secure without slowing shipments down.

The LSP Platform team builds products that let logistics service providers such as freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and 3PLs run on the network. Those firms handle millions of shipments and sit between shippers, suppliers and governments. The products help them screen and clear cargo faster, shield their customers from risk and delay, and sell new trade intelligence services.

This role is an in-country product owner for strategic LSP accounts. You will mostly work from the customer's offices, beside their brokers, compliance analysts, operations leads and IT staff. You decide what the product should do for each account, then see it through deployment, adoption and expansion.

You will set direction and the roadmap for each account together with the Technical Account Managers. Over the next 12 to 24 months you will map where the product fits in the customer's operations today, where it should go, and what is needed to get there. You are accountable for the product vision and the results it delivers.

Responsibilities

  • Spend much of your time on customer sites, learning how their forwarding, brokerage and carriage businesses, operations and client relationships really work, including the unofficial workarounds.
  • Turn your understanding of each LSP's business model, operations and customer relationships into clear product priorities.
  • Define success measures linked to customer impact, such as fewer holds and detentions, quicker clearance, lower compliance cost and new LSP revenue, and track them over time.
  • Focus on the experience of brokers, compliance analysts and operations staff who handle high volume under time pressure.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise and Public Sector product teams so that shipper submissions, LSP processing and government intake form one consistent, trusted picture.
  • Stay close to customers through discovery, design partnerships, pilots and feedback after launch, and bring what you learn back to the team.
  • Write clear requirements that engineers can build from, and use AI prototypes to test ideas before production code exists.

Requirements

  • You have shipped B2B products that customers depend on, with at least 5 years of product management experience. Experience with data-heavy, API-driven or workflow products for enterprise clients is a strong fit.
  • You are highly curious. You do not need to be a logistics expert on day one, but you want to become one, and you enjoy understanding the people, incentives, systems and hidden workarounds of a complex industry. You keep asking follow-up questions.
  • You prefer working alongside customers over reading summaries. You earn trust by being present, listening well and returning with something that works, and you treat customers as partners in building the product.
  • You take ownership of outcomes. You treat launch as the starting point, measure the impact you have on customers, and keep improving until the product performs. When something fails, you step in and fix it.
  • You are technical enough to own the integration layer. You work comfortably with APIs, EDI, ETL/ELT, JSON and integration architecture, and you can discuss details with engineers and customer IT teams.
  • You care deeply about UX. You dislike clumsy integrations and high-friction workflows, and you believe complicated processes can feel simple.
  • You work well across cultures and time zones, can work independently, and stay closely connected to the core team.
  • Preferred: You have worked in a forward-deployed, solutions or customer-embedded product role at an enterprise software company.
  • Preferred: You have run design partnerships, pilots or on-site discovery that shaped what you built and led to measurable adoption and expansion.
  • Preferred: You have built platform, API or integration products that had to fit into existing customer systems.
  • Preferred: You are comfortable with AI or ML products, and can turn complex model output into decisions users can act on with confidence.
  • Preferred: You have some exposure to logistics, freight, customs, trade compliance or supply chain technology. This is not required, since how fast you learn matters more than what you already know.
  • Preferred: You have worked on products with several stakeholders whose incentives conflict, such as marketplaces, networks or multi-party workflows.
