Description

The company is a global cybersecurity vendor whose customers include some of the largest organizations in the world.

This role sits in the workspace security organization, which protects users, endpoints, applications, email and data from advanced threats.

You will be the technical authority and trusted adviser for customers, prospects, partners and the company's sales team, pairing deep endpoint expertise with business and customer judgment.

The role is highly customer-facing and covers technical depth, competitive knowledge, executive communication, and owning complex opportunities from first discovery through technical validation to closure.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert for the email and endpoint side of the workspace portfolio, with working knowledge of browser and mobile security.
  • Follow modern email and endpoint architectures, attacker methods, threat vectors and SOC workflows, and turn them into customer security strategies.
  • Review customers' email and endpoint environments, find gaps and architectural problems, and recommend changes that improve prevention, detection, visibility and efficiency.
  • Keep up with the competitive market across email security, endpoint security, EDR/XDR and workspace security, and explain where the company's integrated approach stands out and what it is worth to the business.
  • Show how the portfolio's capabilities work together to protect users, devices, email, browsers and mobile.
  • Work with sales on discovery: current architecture, business requirements, technical challenges and desired outcomes.
  • Design email, endpoint and combined workspace architectures that fit each customer's requirements, objectives, infrastructure and operating model.
  • Translate technical capabilities into operational and business outcomes for practitioners, security leaders and executives.
  • Spot chances to widen conversations from a single product to a complete workspace security strategy.
  • Own email, endpoint and workspace POCs from planning to completion, setting clear technical and business success criteria.
  • Configure, deploy, troubleshoot and tune solutions during evaluations, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Report POC results, differentiators and recommendations, and push evaluations toward technical and business decisions.
  • Stay expert on competing email, endpoint, EDR/XDR and workspace products, including their strengths, limits and market position.
  • Identify weaknesses in incumbent tools and show how consolidating onto the company's integrated approach improves prevention and reduces point products.
  • Support displacement deals with technical analysis, demos, solution design and POCs, and share competitive intelligence with internal teams.
  • Build trusted-adviser relationships with CISOs, security leaders, SOC teams, security architects, email security teams, endpoint administrators and other stakeholders.
  • Lead technical workshops and architecture sessions to surface risks and build strategies across email, endpoint, browser and mobile.
  • Explain complex security concepts to technical and executive audiences, and address concerns that could delay or block a decision.
  • Write accurate, differentiated responses to RFIs, RFPs, security questionnaires and architecture requirements across email, endpoint and workspace security.
  • Make sure proposed solutions match customer requirements and correctly describe the company's capabilities.
  • Work with sales and internal teams to build proposals that are technically sound and commercially strong.
  • Educate customers, partners, sales and security engineers on the email, endpoint and wider workspace portfolio.
  • Share best practices, competitive intelligence, demos, architectures, use cases and lessons learned.
  • Raise field capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing, and position email and endpoint as one integrated workspace strategy.
  • Work with sales, product management, R&D, support, customer success, marketing and security engineering to solve customer challenges and speed up opportunities.
  • Give structured feedback on product gaps, customer requirements, competitive challenges, integration opportunities and emerging security needs.
  • Own customer technical issues, act as the link between customers and internal teams, and drive resolution and portfolio improvements.
  • Contribute to the wider organization through mentoring, coaching, knowledge sharing, documentation or cross-functional leadership, with at least 2 measurable contributions during the review period.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering, technical presales, endpoint security, email security, EDR/XDR or related technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint and email security, including EPP, EDR/XDR, threat prevention, ransomware, phishing, credential theft and modern attack techniques.
  • Experience designing, deploying, demonstrating or supporting enterprise security solutions, including discovery, demonstrations, POCs and competitive evaluations.
  • Strong grasp of enterprise environments and security architecture, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Solid business and technical judgment, with the ability to explain cybersecurity value and differentiation to technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, discovery and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer opportunities.
  • Take full ownership of your commitments and follow them through to completion.
  • Act quickly and set priorities well without sacrificing quality.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, learn fast and welcome new challenges.
  • Take initiative, spot opportunities and drive results without waiting to be asked.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
