Description

You will lead the Identity & Access Management (IAM) unit, one of the company's most important cyber security capabilities, helping keep the organisation secure, resilient and able to meet its strategic goals.

You sit on the Cyber Security Leadership Team and report to the CISO, sharing responsibility for the function's overall strategy, priorities and long-term growth. You work with business, technology and security leaders to balance business goals, security needs and risk.

You set the direction for the company's global IAM capability and lead a leadership team that covers the full identity lifecycle. Your job is to keep the capability effective, scalable and matched to where the business is heading.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategy, roadmap and operating model for the company's IAM capability, keeping them aligned with business, technology and security goals and driving long-term maturity.
  • Help set the overall strategy, priorities, operating model and long-term development of the cyber security function as a member of the Cyber Security Leadership Team.
  • Own workforce planning, succession planning, capability building and organisational effectiveness within IAM.
  • Set budgets and plan resources, investment and vendor strategy, prioritising work to meet IAM and cyber security goals.
  • Build a high-performing, inclusive and collaborative team focused on improvement, innovation and business value.
  • Manage IAM-related risks, controls, regulatory duties and strategic initiatives.
  • Build partnerships across business, technology and security to align priorities and shape decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of people management experience in cyber security, IAM or an adjacent area.
  • A track record running an enterprise-scale IAM function end to end in a global organisation, covering governance, risk and compliance, architecture, engineering, delivery and operations.
  • Experience leading managers, building strong leadership teams and holding full accountability for a multidisciplinary organisation's results.
  • Experience on a senior leadership team in cyber security, technology or enterprise, helping shape shared strategy, priorities and investment beyond your own area.
  • Experience setting and delivering enterprise IAM strategies, roadmaps, operating models and large transformations, including change across functions and organisations.
  • Deep knowledge of IAM capabilities and tools: identity lifecycle, access governance, authentication, authorisation, privileged access management, and enterprise IGA platforms such as Saviynt, SailPoint or similar.
  • Strong grasp of IAM risks, controls, policies, regulation and audit expectations.
  • Experience managing large budgets, investments, resources, sourcing and external partners, including negotiating with key vendors.
  • Excellent communication and influence, including with senior and executive stakeholders, turning complex IAM, cyber security and risk topics into business impact and decisions.
  • Good judgement in complex, uncertain and risk-sensitive situations.
  • Beneficial: certifications in IAM, cyber security or risk management.
