Security Engineer

Description

The company sells security products that protect organizations from threats to their networks, cloud environments, digital workspaces and AI systems, using a prevention-first approach.

The role sits in sales engineering and supports the sales team with prospects, customers and partners.

The company protects over 100,000 organizations worldwide from cyber and AI-driven threats.

Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team to find new prospects.
• Show the full range of security solutions and explain how they keep organizations and their operations and data safe.
• Teach customers, prospects and partners about the technical, operational and business problems organizations face, and how the company's solutions address them.
• Lead meetings with current and potential customers to uncover their problems and recommend suitable solutions.
• Answer technical questions, advise on best practices and run Proof-of-Concepts.
• Write responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Keep key partners and customers informed about the latest security technologies.
• Take part in cybersecurity events.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering and pre-sales.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A solid understanding of how typical customer networks are built.
• Ability to design an end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications are highly preferred, for example CCNP, CISSP, CCSA or CCSE.
• You must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer, now or in the future.

Conditions

Pay is set by location, experience, certifications and business needs; the base range below is an estimate and is not adjusted for local geographic differentials: $168,000 - $198,000.

Some roles also qualify for an annual bonus or sales incentive tied to revenue or utilization, depending on the plan and role; awards are based on individual performance.
