Description

The role sits in the consulting arm of the company's German customer engagement and adoption unit, which helps clients move their business toward sustainable cloud IT.

Work starts with mapping business processes and designing a target architecture, followed by transformation planning and project delivery.

You join the automotive project management and architecture practice, which pairs sector knowledge with methodological leadership and fills key architecture and project lead roles.

You work across disciplines, countries and client organisations.

The company has worked with organisations for over 50 years.

Responsibilities

• Design application architectures that deliver the required functionality.
• Run thorough client needs assessments and shape future-proof, innovative solutions from them.
• Set stakeholder expectations and align them with project and organisation goals.
• Recommend the company's business suite and cloud portfolio based on client needs and market context.
• Lead clients on AI adoption and build AI into your architecture and delivery work.
• Apply context engineering and agentic AI in your daily practice.
• Make sure AI use in architecture decisions is responsible.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures and link them to business processes and functional architectures.
• Guide clients and project teams toward the intended business outcomes.
• Turn complex business challenges into structured recommendations that senior stakeholders can act on.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of application modules and integration, plus end-to-end automotive business processes.
• Hands-on experience delivering implementation projects, with project references to show.
• Up-to-date knowledge of enterprise technology and architecture developments.
• A real drive to explore new topics and put them into practice.
• The ability to steer clients toward durable, future-ready system landscapes.
• Business judgement to read situations and make decisions that serve client and company goals.
• Clear written and spoken communication in German and English.
• Trust built through expertise and reliable follow-through.
• Experience solving complex problems and turning them into clear architecture recommendations.
• Leadership experience and a commitment to technology and innovation topics.
