Description

Australia's largest private-sector industries are reworking how they serve customers, run operations and handle disruption, from energy and resources to retail and technology. As an Advisory Solution Consultant on the ANZ CRM & Industry Workflows team, you will help these organisations see what can be done with the company.

This is a hands-on role across many industries. You will work with energy companies, utilities, miners, retailers, MSPs and tech companies, and each quarter brings new problems and new people. The team is collaborative and supports growth through mentoring, industry enablement and belonging groups. In return, the team expects you to strengthen its shared capability.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery sessions and design engagements that turn business challenges into transformation plans on the company platform, such as field service for an energy company, customer engagement for a utility, or unified service channels for a retailer.
  • Design and deliver demonstrations that pair customer and industry workflows with partner technologies, AI agents and automation. Set up demo environments, build lightweight POCs, connect integrations and style portal experiences, often without a developer alongside you, so you will fix things that break.
  • Build credible depth in your portfolio by creating solution frameworks, reference architectures and go-to-market plays. You do not need to be an expert in every sector on arrival, but you need to learn a domain quickly.
  • Work with Sales on account strategy and build relationships that make you a trusted advisor.
  • Work with Product Management, technology partners and consulting firms to represent customer needs and track market changes.
  • Share best practices and create reusable assets that help the wider pre-sales organisation. Learn from senior Solution Consultants and take on more scope over time.

Requirements

  • Experience using AI in work processes, decision-making or problem-solving, or critically assessing how it could be used. This can include AI-powered tools, workflow automation, analysing AI-generated insights, or judging AI's likely effect on a function or industry.
  • 7+ years in pre-sales solution consulting, sales engineering or a similar technical advisory role, ideally on customer experience, operational transformation or digital service workflows.
  • A solid technical base: you understand how front-ends, back-ends, APIs and data connect well enough to build POC integrations and spot where they fail. You do not need to be a developer, but you need the technical literacy to pick up new tools fast and work effectively with AI-assisted development.
  • Proficiency in the company, especially CSM, FSM and Industry Workflows, or equivalent hands-on depth in Salesforce, Pega, SAP or Dynamics. You must have built and configured solutions yourself.
  • Familiarity with at least one of: energy, resources, utilities, construction, mining, retail, technology/MSP or telecommunications. Curiosity and the ability to learn new domains count for more than covering all of them.
  • Experience applying AI and automation to business workflows, such as virtual agents, intelligent routing, process automation or AI-driven insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the range to speak to technical teams and to Chief Operating Officers.
  • A collaborative approach, disciplined pipeline management, and availability to travel across Australia as required.
  • Also valuable: the company or related certifications; consulting, systems integration or buy-side experience; background in contact centre, field service or CRM transformation.
