Site CTO

Description

The company is an early-stage startup building AI agents for customers, and this role is the site's technical lead.

The role is the technical lead for sales in the region and is hands-on with code.

Responsibilities

• Join early sales conversations, give product demos, and guide discussions on architecture and security.
• Write and ship code yourself, build integrations, and set the quality bar for the team.
• Hire and lead a technical team spanning engineering, integration, and pre-sales.
• Own customer integrations from scoping through deployment of AI agents, and make sure they are accurate in production.
• Collect customer feedback, adapt the product for the local market, and bring regional needs to the global Product team.
• Be the local technical contact, build partnerships, and handle escalations.

Requirements

• 7, 8+ years of hands-on software engineering, including software you have shipped to real users.
• A track record in pre-sales, solution architecture, or complex technical implementations.
• Customer-facing experience in roles such as Site CTO, Solutions Architect, or Deployed Engineer, able to speak to both technical and business audiences.
• Strong leadership, ideally at Director, VP, or Founder level.
• Excellent written and spoken English, plus fluency in at least one local language.
• Ability to work on your own in a zero-to-one setting, creating the plan, the team, and the system from nothing.
